Installation on ProDvx signage displays

Requirements

• A ProDvx signage device with the latest firmware available form ProDvx
• ProDvx API application installed on the device (You can find more information about how to check it here

If the device is not started for the first time then please perform a Factory reset! You can factory reset the device by following these steps: Settings > System > Reset options > Erase all data

1. After powering on the device on the first time it will show the Startup Wizard
2. Begin the installation with the wizard
3. At the first step of the Wizard disable the ProDvx Manager application
4. At the second step enable the ProDvx API
5. To continue follow the standard Android installation guide

How to check if the ProDvx API application is installed

1. Open the Settings application
2. Go to Apps & Notifications
3. Click the SEE ALL APPS button in the middle
4. Look for the ProDVX API (AOSP) application for the list

If you cannot find the application in the list then you have to enable it by following these steps:

1. Open the Settings application
2. Go to System
3. Click the Advanced button
4. Click the Digital Signage options
5. Click the Enable ProDVX API (Make sure that the ProMGR application is disabled)
6. Reboot the device
