Update Firmware on Samsung

You can update firmware in your device directly from our editor site.
To find the correct firmware version specific to your device please visit Samsung User Manuals & Software Guides and enter your product's model code!
To update your device from the editor interface using the Update firmware
modal, find the BEM type upgrade file you need then right-click
the Download
button next to it and click Copy link address

- Right click on the device then navigate yourself into Manage screen >> Update firmware modal
- You have to fill this modal, then save it.

Navigate yourself to Devices
menu, select the device
where you wish to update firmware
- In the details tab, select settings, scroll down until you find the
Advanced controls
modal. - Select
Update firmware
- Here you have to fill the modal, then save it
Required information for firmware update
Fill the ID
, Filename
, Version
and size
of the firmware fields with the information provided with the firmware
- Firmware URL
Copy the direct link to the Firmware image file (.bem
) (if there are two link do not use the USB version) - ID of the Firmware
This can be any kind of number. - Filename of the firmware
When you download the firmware, there should be a.bem
file. You need to copy the name of that.bem
file. - Version of the firmware
It is a combination of the model string + major version + minor version. For example: T-KTM2ELAKUC 2430.3. - Size of the firmware (in bytes)
The size of the extracted.bem
file in bytes.
- It will start a background process, it will not disturb the currently playing content
- When the process finishes, it will restart the device, then finalize the firmware update.
- It will take a few minutes.
- After the device finished the update, it will restart once more.
To update firmware on Samsung devices, you have to own a Profile to download other Samsung firmware versions.
