Manual Update and Install Application

You can initiate update a device or a group of devices in the Device Details / Settings tab via Update button or with Install Application.

Please note!

Update and Install application features are not available for some devices.

Update​

  • Under the Device section you can find the Update feature.
  • This feature will force the device(s) to install the pre-downloaded update.

When a new client version is available, the Update button in the UI will be active, indicated with yellow color.

  • And a yellow indicator will appear on the device card.

Install application​

With Install application feature you can manually send the desired client update to the device.

In Downloads menu you can copy and download the desired client application installer and sent it to the device.

Enter Installer URL​

  • You can find the Install application card in the Device Details/ Settings tab, in the Advanced control section.
  • Open the modal, enter the installer URL, then press Save.
  • The device will download and apply the new version of the client application.
Installation may fail
  • If the device has active Version Upper Limit set, the installation will not proceed.
  • Offline devices will not be able to download updates and cannot be forced to update until proper network connection.
