Screenshot Creation Service
System screenshot datasources are created from contents/slides and playlists.
Navigate to Datasources
- Navigate to the Datasources menu
- Select System Datasources tab to access system datasources
- Click on the button next to the System datasources header.
- A creation modal will open
Set up the datasource
- As type, select the Screenshot creation service
- Select a Refresh time method to define when the datasource should check on changes.

Image Format
- Choose between PNG or JPG format for the screenshot output
- PNG: Higher quality, larger file size
- JPG: Smaller file size, suitable for most use cases
Select Content
In the Content dropdown you can select slides, contents or even playlists.
All pages enabled
If All pages is enabled (enabled by default), that means that when you select content as the target, a screenshot will be created for all pages within that content.
- If you move a page within content or a playlist, the screenshots for those pages will reflect the new order in the source.
All pages disabled
- When you select a Content with more than one page, you can manually select the specific pages you want to capture screenshots from.
Please note
All pages switch cannot be disabled if the content type is playlist or slide.Screenshot Image Viewer
After your Screenshot datasource captures images, you can preview them using the Screenshot Image Viewer:
Accessing the Image Viewer
- Navigate to the Screenshot datasource in the Datasources menu
- Click on the preview/view icon to open the Screenshot previews modal
- The viewer displays all captured screenshots from the datasource
Image Viewer Features
Screenshot Selection
- Dropdown selector at the top to choose which screenshot to preview
- Shows the datasource name or screenshot identifier
Main Preview Area
- Large preview display of the selected screenshot
- Navigation arrows (< >) to browse through screenshots sequentially
- Click arrows to move between previous and next screenshots
Thumbnail Carousel
- Bottom carousel showing all screenshots with labels
- Click any thumbnail to jump directly to that screenshot
- Visual overview of all captured images in the datasource
- Thumbnails labeled with screenshot names or identifiers
