Advanced Datasource Settings
The Advanced settings panel sits in the middle of the datasource editor and controls how a data source behaves and is managed, rather than how it connects to its source.
Refresh and caching
External data sources re-fetch their data on a schedule. These options live in the datasource editor's Advanced settings panel and control how often a data source refreshes and how the resources it fetches are cached.
Auto-deactivation
Wallboard automatically stops refreshing data sources that aren't in use, preserving performance. A data source's configuration is always retained, and a deactivated data source reactivates automatically the next time its content is used.
