About Wallboard Lite
How does our Wallboard Lite work?
Wallboard Lite is a simplified lightweight version of our native application able to run on nearly any android device with android version 7.0 and above. The application can be downloaded to your device from the Google Play Store.

How to set up Wallboard Lite on Android
1. Download the application
- Go to the Google Play Store on your device and download the Wallboard application.
- Launch it.
2. Set the application as default home application
- In the application click on the
Enable Wallboard Home Service
button. - Once this shortcut takes you to the device's accessibility settings click on
Wallboard Home Service
under Downloaded apps and enable theUse Wallboard Home Service
toggle. When prompted for additional permissons, click allow.
Alternatively if the Enable Wallboard Home Service
shortcut doesn't work you can navigate here from the home screen of your device by going to Settings>Accessibility>(Downloaded apps).
- Go back to the application.
3. Register the device
- In the application enter your server URL and click
Register application
. - A 4-digit code will appear that you can use to add the device to your user in the editor interface.
If you want to set the home application on your device back to default you can do so through the application's secret menu
or by going into the accessibility settings and disabling
