Our mission with the 2.0 UI is to deliver a seamless, intuitive, and visually stunning experience, ensuring that every interaction with our system is both efficient and enjoyable.
With the release of version 1.12, the BETA testing platform for 2.0 is now available!

Important changes in 2.0​

Important Changes in 2.0
  • N8N Module: This module will be deprecated and removed from servers where it is not in use. Integrations based on the N8N API or database will break in 2.0.
    Users are advised to migrate these integrations to custom solutions.
  • PM2 Modules: These modules will also be deprecated and removed in future major releases.
    Users should plan to migrate their PM2 modules to custom applications.
  • Introduced a new Unlicensed state in the 2.0 UI: When moving screens between customers or servers, no license selection is required, and screens automatically enter the "UNLICENSED" state.
    Devices in this state don’t consume a license, allowing an unlimited number of devices to be pre-configured for large projects without using up licenses until deployment.

Improvements:

  • The default resource type is now set to "Restaurant Menu and Stock Flatten" when creating a new external data source in Toast.
  • All Team Management modals got a consistent appearance.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the update icon was active on offline devices.
  • Fixed an issue where long text within the tooltip of URL fields in external data sources would extend beyond the tooltip box.
  • Fixed an issue where URLs from "File from URL" type data sources were not displayed in the URL column.
  • Fixed an issue where Channel names were not visible in the Channel Management section of the Team menu within Settings.
  • Fixed an issue where the template selector could not be scrolled to the bottom in the "Create Content from Template" option.
  • Fixed an issue where changing the profile picture did not update the display in the bottom left corner until the page was refreshed.
  • Fixed an issue where the preview of updatable devices was not displayed in the Updatable Device List menu under Settings.
  • Fixed an issue where devices could not be preregistered via serial number if the Advanced Settings tab had been accessed before saving.
  • Fixed an issue where the root group was allowed to move to another folder in My devices settings.

Other:

  • Added additional UI elements in specific areas to improve clarity and user understanding.
  • Improved navigation between 2.0 and Designer UI.

Improvements:

  • Added the ability to set time zones in filtered device batch actions.
  • New see and manage permissions added to User interface profiles for Tags menu.
  • Datasource type selector has been added to Internal and System data sources.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue on the Devices >> Overview tab where certain charts continued to display metrics for the compared device, even after the comparison was removed.
  • Fixed an issue where the new customer was not able to add tags under the Tags menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the datasource error counter did not count the errors correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the lock icon does not work on Administrator >> Devices
  • Fixed an issue where the Destination folder list contained the folder which has been selected to remove.
  • Fixed an issue where the newly created Advertiser was disabled by default
  • Fixed an issue where all days could be removed from the Working Days field in Alert rules modals.
  • Fixed an issue where the time format of working hours was not supported the 12h format.
  • Fixed an issue where the Latest preview image viewer showed incorrect preview image.

Other:

  • In File Manager The Add credential option has been removed from the Connect Google Folder and Connect Microsoft Folder modals.
  • Improved translations for Date and Time pickers.

New features:

  • Tags can be managed under the Tags menu on Customer Settings.
  • User profile settings are available for Tags menu.

Improvements:

  • PWA client has been renamed to Browser client.

  • Improved content analyzer Widget details, where the action type referenced to the element ID instead of the target widget.

  • Improved English-Hungarian translations

  • Knowledge Base articles have been updated:

    • Linked Knowledge Base articles to corresponding pages for seamless access to information.
    • Identified and repaired broken links between Knowledge Base articles and their associated pages.

  • Date filtering of logs:

    • From now on the date pickers can be set to the same day to filter logs.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the broken quick filters cannot be deleted.
  • Fixed an issue where the content browser modal was not able to load the pages if more than 1 page of contents were available.

Other:

  • Browser client:
    • The not available actions of Browser Client has been removed from Device Settings.
