Breaking changes
If you wish to update your previously installed devices to v4.0, first you have to consider the following:

If you have 2.x version, you have to update to version 2.21.06.x first

If you already have a 3.x version you can update from any subversion of 3.x to 4.0

Alternatively you can update the device from any version manually through the Install application function, or with USB storage!

Automatic updates may not work with Android versions 4.0.105 to 5.0.96 if a version limit was previously set.
To resolve this, update to version 5.0.127 or higher using the Install Application option under Devices > Device Settings > Advanced Controls.
To get the URL, go to Settings > Downloads, copy the latest activated version’s URL, and ensure it points to version 5.0.127 or higher.
